Generations

Photoshop collage inspired by Joe Cavazos. This collage was sourced from premade images. I chose the assets to emphasize the idea that each generation gives of themselves to build the next generation and generations beyond.

TMNT Poster

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990). This is a tribute poster to one of my childhood favorites. I wanted to update the typography and illustrate the grunge felt in the movie, while tipping my hat to the original cartoon series. Photoshop and Illustrator.

Pixel Project - Mechanic

The Pixel Project is a 3-part series of self portraits that started with this 10 pixel by 10 pixel canvas in Photoshop. I took the opportunity to explore a few different aspects of my identity. The image to the left is an enlarged screen capture. The image below is actual size. Photoshop.

Pixel Project - Supermom

The second self portrait of the series moves up to a 20 pixel by 20 pixel canvas in Photoshop.  I used the tiny size of the canvases to explore relationships. These images , like the many aspects of an individual identity, can only really be experienced when time and effort is made The image to the left is an enlarged screen capture. The image below is actual size. Photoshop.

Pixel Project - Artist

The third self portrait of the series moves up to a 50 pixel by 50 pixel canvas in Photoshop. This is one of the more well-known aspects of my identity and so felt appropriate to take the largest canvas of the series. The image to the left is an enlarged screen capture. The image below is actual size. Photoshop.
