

Sanctuary Game Assets and Level Design

Project
The project was to design assets for use in a game where the main character was a medieval scholar and warrior. My role was to design a space for this character that would inform the design of other assets used in the game.
Approach
I imagined this character as a peaceful person but fierce when called upon and so aimed to create a solemn space where they meditated. It is a minimalistic space, showing their self control and some of the only personal objects they own are books and weapons. The lighting is meant to convey a sense of stillness.
